Age of Youth…

An Age of Innocence
But also of Ignorance

An Age of Adventure
But also takes a dip in Stupidity

An Age of Beauty
But also filled with Self Consciousness

An Age of Love
But also of Timid Confessions

An Age of Youth is many things
But not a journey that is Easy

Ultimately its An Age of Dreams if not lived
Becomes regrets of the Old…

    Hahaha
Vo javani javani nahi jiski koi kahani na ho,
Jindagi ki na tute ladi pyar kar le ghadi do ghadi ”

Famous song from movie kranti , one of the best picturization of song.

I could relate your poem to that song.

    Hope you don’t mind.

Sorry if you mind it .😊😊😊

This is a difficult question..hehe… Favourites are many actually, songs from Kishore Kumar, Jagjit Singh to Artif Aslam…But the one that comes to my mind…maybe you also like… “Mei Pal do Pal ka Shayar Hun” from Kabhi Kabhi… The lyrics are awesome…

                Kal aur aayenge
                Nagmo ki khilti kaliyan
                Chunne wale

                Mujhse behtar kehne wale
                Tumse behtar sunne wale

                Koi mujko ko kiun
                Yaad kare
                Mushruf jamana mere liye
                Kiyun waqt apna barbad kare

Kishore and jagjit singh was the legend
                Atif has got good voice.

                Indeed it’s difficult question which
                You have answered diligently.

Thanks for sparing time to reply.

Shefali it’s always enriching talking to you.

The piece I wrote about is more about you know your dreams, but you don’t live them, you either delay or don’t have the confidence to pursue… Only dreams n no action and later when it’s too late (I.e. when Old)… You will regret that you did not live every moment of your life…
You can take “old” as a symbolism of being too late in life to do anything about the dream…

Oh in that way… Sorry I interpreted your statement as something else …heheh… Ya I wish we had time machines too… Life would have gone without regrets or maybe it would have lost its charm of mystery n become boring….Can’t help finding a loophole in that too..hahha…
