Battle Of Storm Inside Out…

One fall after another
Every critic in nitpicking spree
Pride held me going
How could I let them see me crawl
An anger I refused to show
All it achieved were accumulate sorrow
The victory for their eyes
Seemed to me even more hollow

Hearing the firing storms outside
Hits a nerve inside of me
Running through the noise n light
Screaming in the deafening long night
The battle of storm inside out
Instills silence of darkness in me
I know now I have truly won
As the armour of tranquility is within me…

Nothing can take away the tranquility unless you let it. Be strong. You’re a fighter queen. 👸

True…fighting is an ongoing process… But then there are days that you need to feel n remove it… I don’t know I have never gone through days together feeling at peace… There is always some negative emotion hiding around…Do you think anyone feels at peace all the time (except probably the Sadhus n saints who proclaim to have achieved eternal peace)…

No…I don’t think anyone ever does. We’re human and negative emotions are harder to get rid of. When we’re too happy there’s the fear that it might go away someday. When we enjoy a sumptous meal there’s always the fear that we might not get any such thing again.
Peace doesn’t come easy, but yes we can do everything we can to keep that hiding negativity away. It will help.

Isn’t it really silly of us to fear so many things… When we might not be even alive tomorrow…there are books that I read in spirituality at times talking about how to let go of all fear n live in d moment n peace… I think that can be achieved only if you are in isolation… Living within a civilised world as per the norms of life decided…you really can’t be in peace… Isn’t it unpractical to preach this then…

Too much dose for you Kya Varsh?…hehheh 😊

            😂😂😂 Nope not too much…just a little. 😜😜
I totally agree with you on this. In fact I even asked my mother once about this. Ascetics…sadhus…etc.. all these people who have renounced wordly pleasures and live in quiet places can easily talk of mental peace. Do they feel the same when they face routine battles like making a living or getting along with people they don’t really like?
It isn’t impractical for us, simply because we probably need it more. How to achieve within the lives we lead is a task we need to learn.

              Hahah… U say dose is there… But your answers r very practical…
I agree one of the reasons I don’t follow these spiritual gurus especially who live in isolation…as you said you need to go through the civilised world to be able to preach how to attain happiness within the chaos…

I don’t follow them either, although few of my friends are devouts. I cannot be expected to attain peace when I have two kids to feed and nurture all day long. It is exhausting.
I will tell you something, to put Angel to sleep with it I downloaded Mozart’s symphony and all of us listen to it everyday in bed. It isn’t magic, but I guess soothing music helps in unwinding.

Hahah… That was funny all sleeping through lullaby… Ya I can understand 2 kids n peace totally not relatable n can see how frustrating it can get… Kudos that you still try to find an answer for peace in the midst of that all 😊👍👌
